Now the meeting of deputies with voters, for which did not previously require approval, it shall be agreed in the administrations of towns and villages as the usual meetings. It will have to apply within 10 days to wait for permission or provide alternative sites.

Initially, a similar law was adopted by the deputies of the Moscow city Duma, but soon a similar initiative to the Federal Parliament made the Deputy of the state Duma from “United Russia” Irina White.

The parliamentary opposition opposed the bill, pointing out that it violates the principle of separation of powers and, in fact, dominates one branch of government — legislative, Executive, nevertheless, a document was adopted by majority of votes.

The format of the meeting with voters remained virtually the only legal and requires no permissions a form of mass meeting of citizens. This format actively used different policies from Dmitry Gudkov to Valery Raskina.
