China has created a Fund of $23 million for the study of dark matter

The state natural science Foundation of China and Academy of Sciences of China established a Fund of 160 million yuan ($23.3 million) for the development of four scientific satellites, reports the Agency “Xinhua”.

It is specified that the Fund, which will operate until 2020, will direct the development of apparatus for the search of dark matter particles DAMPE (Dark Matter Particle Explorer) returned from a research satellite SJ-10, satellite quantum communication and telescope for the hard x-ray radiation.

The Fund will Finance the study of dark matter, neutron stars, and will be engaged in research in the field of microgravity and space Biomedicine.
