Putin appointed a new Commissioner to the ECHR

Deputy Minister of justice of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galperin appointed Commissioner of the Russian Federation at the European court of human rights (ECHR). The corresponding decree signed by President Vladimir Putin, published on Friday on the official portal of legal information.

On the website of the Ministry of justice indicated that Halperin is a graduate of St. Petersburg state University, candidate of legal Sciences, state Councilor of justice of the Russian Federation, 2nd class.

On March 29, Putin dismissed the Commissioner under the ECHR Georgy Matyushkin.
