Assange accused the EU of arrests and extraditions without charge

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange believes that the European Union started to use the practice of arrests and extraditions without charge. He declared from the balcony of Embassy of Ecuador in London, where he is forced to live the last five years.

“In my case, this was done for political purposes, but in other cases it has led to horrific injustices against many people,” – said Assange for the actions of the EU.

He added that “civilized countries do not behave”.

On Friday it became known that the Swedish prosecution authority refused to investigate the case of Assange, in which he is accused of rape. Assange denies the allegations.
