Time magazine joined the White house to St. Basil’s Cathedral


The attention of Western and Russian mass media was attracted by the cover of the new issue of Time magazine where on the American White house grows Basil’s Cathedral. The image accompanies the entry in the “Twitter” edition. This is an illustration to the material on “the war on the Russian social networking with America.”

Later the newspaper corrected the mistake and now the title has already spoken about the domes. However, users of social networks noticed the mistake and made fun of CNN. Some have suggested that the next time the minarets will pririsovyvat to the Eiffel tower, other reasonably suggest that the editors of the TV channel to Google the word “minaret” to find out its value.

Earlier, CNN ridiculed by the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova for the material about the alleged White house dissatisfaction with the fact that the Russian side published a photo of Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with US President Donald trump. “The bottom is broken,” wrote Zakharova, explaining why this time you should not trust anonymous sources of the TV channel.
