In the Kherson region built a dam that keeps the water in the Crimea

In the Kherson region of Ukraine, near the border of the Crimea, commissioned a major dam that is intended to block current of the Dnieper water in the North-Crimean canal to Crimea.

According to TSN, the construction of the dam at a cost of 35 million hryvnia (about $1.3 million), the work took a year. Local authorities explained the construction of the building the need to restore water supply selhoznaloga the South of Kherson region, which three years ago after the closure of sluices upstream was cut off from it along the Peninsula.
