Odessa mayor refused to rename “non-Soviet” streets


The mayor of the city-hero Gennady Trukhanov has promised the head of the presidential Administration of Ukraine Igor Rainin and the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov to veto the draft decision of the Odessa city Council about the “diseaseclinical”. That is about the return of a number of Odessa streets of former Soviet titles, abolished the arbitrary decision of the former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili.

Avakov in his Facebook called “wise” decision Trukhanova “not to sign the odious vote of the city Council last time that caused so much negativity in society.”
