- The state Department has criticized Turkey for attack on Kurds in Syria
State Department spokesman mark Toner said that Washington conveyed to the Turkish government its deep concern about the impact of Turkey on the positions of the Kurds in Syria and Iraq.
“They not only coordinated their actions with the coalition, but they have endangered American soldiers who are in this region,” – said Toner.
Toner added that Washington gave Ankara a clear understanding that Turkey should “fully coordinate” with the United States and the coalition.
