Poll: Americans consider Russia an enemy

More than half of US citizens (57 percent) said Russia’s “unfriendly nation” or “opponents.” This is evidenced by a poll by CNN/ORC.

As noted by RT, this figure practically has not changed since last summer, when the U.S. broke the hysteria about “Russian hackers”.

However, if we compare with the results of 2014, the number of anti-Russian Americans dropped significantly — then enemy Russia called for 77 percent of U.S. citizens.

Particularly, this figure fell among supporters of the Republican party — from 82 to 41, while the mood among supporters of the Democrats is almost not changed.

However 62процента of Americans believe that Russia intervened in the U.S. elections. Also, 58 percent of respondents said that if the contacts of the members of the election campaign trump with Russia are confirmed, a possible serious crisis.
