Macedonia’s Parliament occupied by protesters after the election of the new speaker

As reported by the local Radio Free Europe, a group of disgruntled representatives of the public movement “For a United Macedonia” broke in the meeting room of the Parliament, after the opposition elected a new speaker to bypass the General procedure.

“The leader of the opposition “Social democratic Union of Macedonia” Zoran Zaev and the members of the coalition of Albanian “Democratic Union for integration” managed to barricade themselves in the press room.
