Putin and Abe began talks in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin began talks in Moscow with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.

Opening the meeting, the Russian leader noted that relations between the two countries is moving forward. He expressed hope that this visit of the Japanese delegations will bring their fruit, reports TASS.

“Japan is our good neighbor and very promising partner,” Putin added.

In turn, Abe said that countries were able to achieve good results through the Ministry of foreign Affairs and the Ministry of defence and relations are “as follow”.

He also stressed that he would like on this at the meeting with Putin to discuss the issue of concluding a peace Treaty between Russia and Japan, as well as the situation in the region.
