The head of the FSB Bortnikov announced the formation of a new large-scale terrorist networks

The head of the Federal security service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov said that Russian special services have information about the talks with banned terrorist organization “Islamic state” (IG) with other international illegal groups to unite.

According to Bortnikov, the heads of major international terrorist groups – Islamic state and “Dzhebhat EN – Nusra”, as well as the remaining parts of “al – Qaeda”, – realizing that in the near future, they face total destruction, trying to change the strategy and localization of the resistance.

In particular, the militants organized the transfer of people to the area of Afghanistan, Yemen, and Central Africa, where started to create reference points. According to the head of the FSB, we are actually talking about creating a new large-scale terrorist network. In addition, there is information about the negotiations is prohibited in Russia forces with other groups on a possible Union.

The main objective Bortnikov considers the overlap of militants of the resource base. “You must constantly deeply in the environment, upon which the leaders of international terrorist organizations and find real support in the implementation of their actions. We see it in Syria and Iraq and in other places where a significant number of people and sacrifices himself for the sake of terrorist ideas as suicide bombers,” – said the Director of the FSB.

Russia, the United States and other concerned countries should forget about political differences to establish the joint fight against illegal groups, the potential of cooperation to counter the threat of global terror is far from exhausted, said Bortnikov.
