Sands: the entry of UN peacekeepers in the Donbass should be coordinated

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has responded to the statement of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the intensification of efforts in the deployment of an international peacekeeping contingent of the United Nations in the Donbass.

According to the speaker of the Kremlin, the issue of deployment of UN peacekeepers in the Donbass requires careful consideration and discussion with all parties to the armed conflict with Ukrainian security forces and militias self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk national republics.

“It is important to compare the views of all interested parties in this matter. You need to understand the attitude to this initiative, UN — to the extent possible, to the extent considered feasible technologically, politically and so on. Important to this idea, all sides of the Normandy format”, — said Peskov.
