Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the calls for the fight against corruption in Russia: at the meeting of the Council of legislators, he admitted that talking about it can lead to a revolution.

According to Putin, quoted by RIA “Novosti”, “you need to distinguish between those who really want to do (to fight corruption – ed.) is indeed to strengthen the state, and those who are trying to use it as a tool in its political struggle for self-promotion”.
The President noted that “we passed it, we saw this in the so-called “Arab spring”, what it turned into – we know well. We see this as an example of the same Ukraine.”
However, the President said, “the fight against corruption one of the key areas of strengthening the state. This is a problem facing not only our country, many countries of the world. And we will continue to consistently do that.” In particular, Putin has promised to continue to take action to combat corruption regulations.
While Putin did not mention Alexei Navalny and his Fund of struggle against corruption, on March 26, organized mass demonstrations throughout Russia to investigate the alleged illegal activities of the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
We will remind that earlier specific comments on this topic and refused to Medvedev himself, initially, announcing charges in the address “compote,” and later demanding deputies of the state Duma to raise the issue in conversation with him.
