Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called us infidels and even primitive assertion that victory in the first round of elections of the President of France Emmanuel Makron is supposedly undesirable for Moscow.
According to the speaker of the Kremlin, Russian authorities have traditionally been ready and prepared to build good relations with all who are also configured in a positive way and who believes that the solution of the problematic issues is possible only through dialogue and consideration of mutual interests.
“And in this case to say that Russia is more or less endorses this or that candidate, it would be wrong,” — said Peskov.
Thus the press Secretary of the Russian President commented on messages of some mass media that the victory of Emmanuel Macron to the presidential elections in France will supposedly be undesirable for Russia.
Peskov also added that the application of staff Rules that Russia allegedly interfered in the election campaign, remain in limbo and “not add honor to the authors of these statements”, and also painfully reminiscent of the accusations of meddling in the US presidential election.
“Again, what groups, where, why Russia? It’s reminiscent of the charges that were heard from Washington, and which are still dangling in the air,” concluded Sands.
Emmanuel macron won in the first round of Sunday’s presidential election in France, scoring 23,86% of the votes of the French voters. Second place with a slight lag was the leader of the far-right party “national front” marine Le Pen with a score of 21.43% of the vote. Now political opponents have to fight in the decisive second round of elections which will be held in France on 7 may.
