MIA: Makron won in the first round of presidential elections in France


The leader of the movement “Forward” Emmanuel macron won in the first round of presidential elections in France – voted for by 23,86% of voters. Second place went to the leader of the far-right National front, marine Le Pen. Along with a Macron it through to the second round of voting, which will take place on 7 may.

The French interior Ministry published a revised but not yet final results of the first round of the presidential election, which was held on Sunday, April 23.

According to the Agency, the leader of movement “Forward” Emmanuel macron won with a score of 23,86% of the vote. The representative of the “National front” marine Le Pen took second place, scoring of 21.43% of the vote.

The candidate of the center-right party “the Republicans” Francois Fillon has received 19.94% of the votes. In fourth place is the representative of the leftist movement “Natchinaetsja France,” Jean-Luc Mélenchon, he was voted of 19.62% of the voters.

Now the fight will be between Him and Le Pen. A decisive vote, the results of which will determine the name of the 25th President of France, will be held exactly two weeks after the first round on Sunday, may 7, notes TASS.
