Ex-German Finance Minister went to the comics to Troll Merkel

The former head of the Ministry of Finance of Germany and rival of Chancellor Angela Merkel in the 2013 election, peer Steinbrueck became an artist stand-up Comedy. This summer he will tour the country with a satirical show called “Florian Schroeder selects peer steinbrück”.

Steinbrueck will act in a duet with the 37-year-old comedians Florian Schroeder. Pre-sale tickets for the performances already started in Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg, reports Express.de

The shredder is known in Germany as the best parodist of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In turn Steinbrueck is remembered as the author of the highly provocative statements and actions. For example, in 2012, commenting on the election results in Italy, he said that there “won two clowns”.

He meant professional comedian Beppe Grillo and former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Earlier, Steinbrueck led the government of the Federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia from 2005 to 2009 he held the post of Minister of Finance of Germany.
