Mahmoud Ahmadinejad refused to participate in the presidential race in Iran


The headquarters for the elections of the interior Ministry of Iran has published the list of candidates for the presidency, the candidates previously approved by the Supervisory Board of Iran.

The list includes six candidates. Among them Mostafa Agha Mirsalim, eshaq Jahangiri, Hassan Rouhani, Ebrahim Raisi, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf and Mostafa Hashemi Taba.

It is noteworthy that the application form for participation in the election was filed, and the former President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but his candidacy was not approved.
