Putin has sent in resignation of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region Kuyvashev

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin approved the resignation of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvasheva, said Monday in a press-service of the Kremlin. The head of state appointed Kuyvasheva, who resigned at his own request, acting head of the region “prior to the entry into office of a person elected the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region”.

Kuyvashev became Governor of the Sverdlovsk region in 2012, prior to that, he was Plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the Urals Federal district. Kuyvashev, the Governor’s powers ended in may of this year, and in September, should be elected the new Governor.

11 APR Kuyvashev reported to the legislative Assembly on the work of the government. As he wrote, “MK-Ekaterinburg”, his statement some experts regarded as a full election program.

For the post of head of the region there are at least six candidates, noted the publication Ura.ru.
