The basis of the refusal of the US to justify the alleged involvement of the Syrian government and Bashar al-Assad to chemical attack in Idlib is the “American cynicism, mixed with fraud and lies”. This view was expressed by Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev.
The Senator drew attention to the position of U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley. She said that Washington has irrefutable evidence, they saw the President, and the head of the CIA showed to the partners. Evidence of this, however, is top secret, but Russia still needs to withdraw support for Assad.
“What about having to share “evidence” with Russian? With the UN Security Council? With the world now?” – wrote in Facebook Kosachev. He suggested that the evidence may not be conclusive such as their trying to present.
“And we continue to offer in the best Soviet traditions to condemn Pasternak, without reading it?” – said the Senator.
