Scientists have found a way to reverse back the aging process

A group of researchers from South Korea published in the Internet press resis under the high-sounding title of “Reverse aging reverse is possible now!”. Experts believe that they are closer to understanding how to control the process, forcing the mind and body to weaken and become more vulnerable with age.

It is known that the aging process is directly linked to the fact that over the years, more of the body’s cells lose their ability to divide. One reason for this process is the degradation of lysosomes — the cell components that are responsible for intracellular digestion of macromolecules and involved in some intracellular signaling pathways associated with the metabolism and growth of cells. With age, these organelles begin to work worse, and this leads to aging of the whole organism, as the cell becomes “harder” to be cleansed of damaged and defective components.

The researchers introduced chemical compound under the name of KU-60019, which, as shown by calculations of experts, activates the lysosomes and blocks the protein ATM that activity of this work reduces. The result of the function of cells start to recover. This, according to scientists, can become the proof that ageing, contrary to popular opinion, can be, to a certain extent, a reversible process. If KU-60019 is going to affect the body exactly as the researchers suggest, it could prolong a man’s life and to deal more effectively with various age-related diseases.

The effectiveness of the proposed technology scientists plan to test on animals, aging faster than normal because of the changes made in their DNA. If the connection is successful, it is likely that in the future on its basis will create a drug that slows aging, the scientists suggest.

The scientific work of specialists published in the journal Nature Chemical Biology.
