Poroshenko accused Russia of “provincialism and imperialism”

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has accused Russia that it is looking for its future in the imperialist past. In addition, according to him, the annexation of Crimea indicates a “provincialism” of the country.

At the same time, he said, “the modern Ukraine is based on civil society, which suppresses Moscow,” quoted Poroshenko television channel “112.Ukraine”.

He added that Russia “was not of human dignity and the rule of law”. Poroshenko is confident that Russia is trying to put freedom-loving country in the world, “described by the Strugatsky brothers in the famous novel”.

All this he said at the Kyiv security forum.
