As stated today by the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, “the circumstances surrounding this tragedy seriously studied, explored”. He also added that the Russian investigative authorities continue to address this issue, RIA Novosti reported.

We will remind, on Monday, April 3, the Deputy Prosecutor General of Poland Marek Postek officially declared that the Russian dispatchers and “certain third” persons charged with provoking a catastrophe of Tu-154, on Board of which was the Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his entourage. The plane crashed in April 2010, a little before reaching the airfield near Smolensk. Killed 88 passengers and eight crew members.

In 2011 the Russian investigative authorities concluded that the cause of the tragedy was the fault of the crew. However, Poland has repeatedly put these results in doubt, hinting at the version of the plot.
