The age-old anniversary of the abdication of Nicholas II and the story of the bust, supposedly semireducible in the Crimea, showed that the number of people belonging to the his figure with an almost religious exaltation, is rather large. They refer to the canonization of the monarch, but, in fact, wishful thinking. ROC evaluates the figure of Nicholas II otherwise and she sees the problem “carebare”.
From the point of view of the Russian Orthodox Church, “carebara” and the theses on “the Tsar-Redeemer” is a heresy. Corrupt concept that doctrinal unites several communities located within the Russian Orthodox Church, and beyond. The most famous of the latter are “the Imperial Orthodox Church” and “Holy Synod” of the Diomede (in the past the Bishop, and the now – deposed from the rank of monk).
“God himself, returning to us our Holiness, showed that He forgave our people”
To understand what this doctrine is and why it was condemned as the late Patriarch Alexy II and the current Primate of the Russian Church Kirill, you need to understand features of the canonization of Nicholas II, around which all this “carebara” was formed. The first Royal family in 1981 and was canonized by ROCOR, and only in 1992 the Council of bishops of the Russian Church instructed the Synodal Commission on canonization study the documents for possible glorification of the Royal family among the saints.
The “popular worship” of the Imperial family had taken place before. In exile with 20-ies of the last century confidently talked about the “special role of the victims of the Tsar and his family”. And at the time of instruction the Council of bishops of the family of Nicholas II has been regarded as locally venerated saints of the several dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The story of “the final canonization” in the 90 years was associated with a broad public debate, including in the Church community. And in the end the act of canonization, published in 2000, caused a huge resonance. Including the fact that part of the clergy and laity decided if to canonize the Royal family as passion-bearers is not enough (from this community and subsequently left the group “carbonica”). On the contrary, part of the Orthodox canonization considered at least premature.
According to the results of studying the documents of the Synod, the Commission decided the following: “In the life of Nicholas II had two unequal length and the spiritual significance of the period – the reign and time of the detention. In the first period (stay in power), the Commission did not find sufficient grounds for canonization, a second period (of spiritual and physical suffering) for the Church is more important, so she focused on him.”
Reasons why the reign the Commission found no grounds for canonization are more or less obvious. Here the role of Grigory Rasputin, whom some modern theologians call “the whip” (Orthodox Christians, including canonized later, Rasputin’s contemporaries also spoke about his figure very negatively), and in General weak and vague policy, and the fact of renunciation. But his path after the abdication did not doubt that this is the path of a Martyr, neither of the Synodal Commission nor the Council of bishops, who in 2000 canonized the Royal family canonized. However, even at the Council itself, the late Metropolitan of Nizhny Novgorod Nikolai (Kutepov) spoke out against the canonization, accusing Nicholas II “treason”.
Meanwhile, have not gone away and those who thought the reckoning of the Royal family to the ranks of “only” martyrs insufficient. Martyrs in the Orthodox tradition – those who have suffered torment from other people and accept adversity with humility, but not require them renounce the Christian faith. A number of conservatives were in favour of the Royal family was canonized as “pious”. But Nicholas II at the time of death had abdicated, and “blessed” is the saints of the Royal family.
Bogoslovskoye “Orthodox monarchists” has continued to evolve, and there’s a new term – the “king-Redeemer”. Thoughts on “carbonica” is one who by his death separately atoned for the sins of the Russian people, and the main sin is, in fact, the rejection of the king and the monarchy. In this matter, “carbonite” refer to the oath brought by the Zemsky Sobor in 1613 Michael Romanov and all his heirs, and argue that the Russian people and the Orthodox Church has violated this oath in 1918. Because now all the Orthodox clergy and laity need to bring “unification” or “world” repentance for the death of the Tsar and his family. For its part, the theologians point out the logical inconsistency in this doctrine of “carbonica”: if the king has already “atoned for” the sin, then what, in fact, repent?
The story of “national repentance”, which became a kind of “highest order” for followers of “carbonica”, also has a history. Patriarch Alexy II in his message wrote: “the Murder of the Royal family is a heavy burden on people’s conscience, which stores the knowledge that many of our ancestors, through direct participation, approval or mute connivance, that sin is guilty. Repentance should become a sign of the unity of our people, achieved through compromise is not indifferent, but thoughtful reflection that occurred with the country and people.” This was perceived by a number of clergy and laity as a “green light” to create a single special “rite of penance”, which was introduced in the late 90-ies in the Moscow mininskom the statue of Nicholas II.
But from the Orthodox point of view of “repentance” for the sins of others, for the sins of the already dead is simply impossible – in Christianity there is no “collective” or “generational” liability. In this case the rank of repentance showed up yet and calls for refusal of passports and INN, which is also important part of the doctrine of many currents “carebare”. The growing popularity of clearly heretical currents, where the figure of the last Russian Tsar was gradually replace Christ, in the end prompted Patriarch Alexy to give in 2007, a clear description of not only the “rite of penance”, but to the entire carbognano movement: “the Redemptive feat of one – our Lord Jesus Christ, and to compare the execution of the Emperor and his family through the atoning sacrifice of the Savior is impossible. With all responsibility I declare that this “penitential act” unacceptable and even harmful for the. Unacceptable part of the clergy and laity in the ranks, such taininskoye”.
However, a year later, “carebara” received an unexpected promotion. First criticizing, and then with the anathemas against the Russian Church were made by Bishop Diomede (dziuban). Anathematized he and Alexis II, the then Metropolitan Kirill, and “all of their predecessors,” including “participation in anti-monarchist rebellion in February 1917.” This was followed by the decision of the Council of bishops to deprive Zyban Sana, but he this decision is not recognized “because of the open confession by the members of this bishops’ Council of the main provisions of tsareborchestva heresies, ecumenism, and globalism.”
Another apologist for “Caribia” became Archpriest Alexander Ivannikov, 2009 derived from the staff, and in 2010, spurted from the dignity and self-proclaimed “Bishop” “the Imperial Orthodox Church,” one of the largest communities which is in the Ryazan region near the village of Timokhino. At the time, CPC broke away from the movement diomidova, but the “king-Redeemer” worship and worship Vladimir Putin as a “legislator in the Church, that is the person through whom God speaks to people.” As it goes with faith “carbonica” that all the current government is illegitimate, and even consists of henchmen “secret Jewish conspiracy”, the issue probably not to the sectologists, and psychiatrists. Especially in the CPC was revered not only the entire dynasty of the Romanovs and Rasputin (as a “Holy elder”), but singer Igor Talkov (as “Martyr”).
With the structures of Diomede and Ivannikova is more or less clear, but for “carbonica” inside the Russian Church. Interestingly, it actively fights against the “heretics “of the Tsarist Orthodox Church.” Overall, their platform contained on the pages of the “Russian cross”, where they also call themselves “healthy conservative and monarchist forces within the Church”, and equally honoring the “king-Redeemer” and “Holy elder”.
Among the prominent “carbonica” call and chiyoumen Sergius Romanov, who now performs the functions of a Confessor Sredneuralskaya convent. It’s cleric with an ambiguous past – a former employee of the Soviet law enforcement bodies, up to vows who is in prison for 13 years. Despite the fact that he is a monk of the great schema, which involves solitude, prayer and avoidance of the “world” outside the monastery, Novels often travels in the Crimea, and their followers is revered as a “powerful man”.
By the way, “elders”, miracles, signs in large numbers and on a daily basis is another striking feature “of carbonico” (for example, there are non-canonical icon “resurrection Rus”, where “virgin kills dipladenia with her omophorion with crosses of the infidels”). On the issue of “occurrence” for they are characterized by the apparent exaltation, which is most distant from the position of the Russian Orthodox Church, where it is always trying to establish, “whether from God it’s a miracle”, even if the fact of the occurrence is already installed a special Commission. Known, for example, the case when “the fact of mass occurrence” in the apartment of a certain Valentina Jackoway, the Church Commission decided that these phenomena “are of a secular nature, do not correspond to the spiritual tradition of the Orthodox Church and thus not have any relation to it”.
Often the “Commission for the miracles” created situation, on the level of dioceses, but is a permanent “working group on miraculous signs at the Theological Commission of the Russian Orthodox Church,” co-chaired by academician Pavel Florensky – the grandson of the famous theologian and religious philosopher of the last century Pavel Florensky. Not long ago, the newspaper GLANCE had interviewed him just on “wonderful”.
In the environment “carbonica” everything is exactly the opposite. The facts of occurrence and other miracles are not checked and challenged, and immediately accepted as an undoubted sign of “divine grace”, thereby creating another wave of religious exaltation.
In General, the followers of the doctrine of the “king-Redeemer” is a relatively small and rather marginal groups. Due to the refusal of many of them from documents, passports and even they was not embedded in the social context of the country. Moreover, having often their communities, “houses of worship” and formally being in the number of parishioners of the Russian Orthodox Church, they are not particularly committed to missionary work. Sadly, they can often mimic the Orthodox and their preaching “carebare” to confuse believers and those of non-Church people who are beginning to believe that “here is what is real Christianity”.
There is reason to believe that such a reverent attitude to Nicholas II with reference to his canonization on the part of some politicians, officials and public figures – a result of information influence (in other words, heresy) “carbonica”.
Anyway, the Russian Church condemned the “carebara” and “icons and prayer” and “rite of penance” inherent in this religious group. In his time, said the Patriarch, speaking about “the rank of repentance and appeal to everyone with the call to repentance is the most important mission of the Church, from which she will never retreat, but calls for total repentance for not have made the current generation, there are calls evil, because God Himself, returning to us our Holiness, showed that He forgave our people.”
