Rocket “Soyuz” now do without Ukraine


The launch of the space truck “Progress MS-05” to the ISS was at the same time the farewell flight of the carrier rocket “Soyuz-U”, first went into orbit in 1973. “Precedents of such longevity in the world no longer exists” – say the experts and explain how the failure of this rocket is associated with the contradictions between Russia and Ukraine.

Immediately after the incident, “Roskosmos” sent all blocks of the third stage of the rocket to the manufacturer for additional checks, and the engine of the third stage of the latter, soaring Wednesday “Soyuz-U” was replaced.

According to experts, the launch vehicles “Soyuz-2” from “Soyuz-U” is different in that they are collected exclusively from domestically produced components.
