After the ex-MP from the Communist Denis Boronenkov in interview “Censor. No” compared Russia to Nazi Germany and called the annexation of Crimea annexation, the party leadership announced the intention to exclude politics from a number of Communists. However, his wife, Maria Maksakova argues that Voronenkov was never a member of the Communist party. This was confirmed by “MK” and the ex-Deputy.
The intention of the Communist party to exclude Boronenkov from the party said a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist party Yuri Afonin. He noted that he had a certain skepticism in relation to the Ukrainian media. “But I think it’s not fake, but a real interview,” said Afonin. Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov, in turn, said that this issue would be to understand Control Commission of the Communist party.
After this statement was made by the wife of Denis Boronenkov, ex-Deputy of the state Duma from “United Russia”, the Opera singer Maria Maksakova. Earlier it was reported that she does not communicate.
“Note particularly ideological: my husband Denis Voronenkov was never a member of the Communist party. He was a member of the non-party faction of the state Duma. How can you exclude someone who was not?” – she wrote in her Facebook.
“That’s bullshit. I am not and never was a member of the Communist party – said “MK” himself Denis Boronenkov. I was a member of the faction in the 6th convocation of the state Duma, but was never a member of the Communist party”.
Currently, the law actually provides for the possibility to be elected to the Duma from the party without being a member.
To receive the official comment from the leadership of the Communist party “MK” failed. However, the source of “MK” in the Central Committee of the party said that Voronenkov in the party still took place, and the party ticket he had. “Apparently, Maria Maksakova is very bad familiar with her husband, since she does not know about such details,” said another interviewee, “MK”, close to the leadership of the party.
