The U.S. Senate may deprive trump the possibility of abolishing anti-sanctions

In the U.S. Senate are looking to prevent a possible removal of restrictive measures against Russia, previously told the US President Donald trump. Now the walls of the Senate is preparing a bill that can be submitted for consideration next week.

If this bill is approved, the President of the United States in the future will have to negotiate with Congress any decision on the abolition of sanctions against Russia.

As explained in an interview with ABC, the leader of the Democrats in the U.S. Senate , Senator from new York Chuck Schumer, many senators are not happy with “the breadth of rights,” available today at the trump , for the removal of sanctions in circumvention of Congress.

For its part, is an outspoken opponent of Russia, McCain confirmed that it still considers Russia a “key challenge” for the United States.

“I am extremely concerned about Russian-American relations… My position is supported by many members of the new administration of Donald trump, including new Ministers of defense and national security James Mattis and John Kelly,” added the American “hawk”.

He added that the new administration need not to abolish, but to strengthen the anti-Russian restrictive measures: “we must not soften the sanctions. we need more sanctions against Russia.”
