Parliament had to close: the deputies went to speak to Rob

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy was forced to adjourn the evening session of Parliament, as their jobs remained about one-third of the deputies. Of the 420 MPs in their seats were only 169, and 167 more left his place the parliamentary card. According to Parubiy, he tired to persuade his unruly colleagues to work. “MK” has found out from an expert what happens with the Parliament.

On Thursday the Verkhovna Rada had to vote for the documents that bring the decentralization of power. In particular, they talked about bills that included the creation of the “joint communities” to be held by local authorities and their further funding. On their adoption, in particular, insisted on the eve of the EU delegation in Ukraine. They believe that these solutions will accelerate the implementation of reforms in the country and will become a new stage for its socio-economic development.

The Verkhovna Rada is known for its fights, blockade stands, hanging banners and other vivid events. What happened to the extravagant Parliament in the post-Soviet space, “MK” explained political analyst Denis DENISOV:

– When we are talking about resonant bills whom recruited for the year no more than 30 pieces, the deputies love to get rough and feel extremely unpleasant. But on the consideration of documents that relate to the everyday life of ordinary Ukrainians, there has been a consistently low turnout. The majority of the current Parliament is more important than the meeting in the Verkhovna Rada. Among all the Ukrainian Parliament of the current convocation of the unprecedented level of attendance, and it happens because of the events of 2013-14. Maidan people came to the Verkhovna Rada to wear the Deputy badge and deal with corruption.

– But under Viktor Yanukovych the Ukrainian deputies do not often think about the people in their address was much criticism. It would seem that there’s nowhere to fall, but the current convocation was able to do the impossible. Now deputies do not go to work, although the situation in the country became even worse than it was before?

– View who sit in the Verkhovna Rada. For the majority of public deputies to corruption and self-promotion. They need to speak in a variety of media, to conduct raider attacks, together with the volunteer battalions, and so on. Under these conditions parliamentary activities but they don’t have time. In the faction of 30 people to work comes 2 people, and they wonder why they need it.
