In Washington, DC said, why not have imposed personal sanctions against Putin

White house spokesman Josh earnest explained why the President of Russia Vladimir Putin was not on the sanctions list Washington. According to him, restrictive measures in respect of the heads of state are introduced in exceptional cases.

The question of why Putin did not fall under the sanctions, asked journalists during a traditional briefing at the White house, reports RIA Novosti.

“According to the policy of imposition of sanctions, the leaders of foreign States are specified in the black list only in certain circumstances. And it would be extraordinary if Putin personally was in this list,” replied Ernest.

The representative of the White house could not really explain why Washington has not responded as tough against China. In 2015, Americans are accusing Beijing of hacking attacks on the United States government.

However, a White house spokesman said in response that the two events “differ in substance”.

Recall that in late December, Barack Obama has imposed new sanctions against Russia and was exiled from the country for 35 Russian diplomats. In Washington said that it was a response to a hacker attack from Russia.

In turn, the founder of the site WikiLeaks Julian Assange said that Obama at the end of his term decided to “put a pig” to a successor and to expose Donald trump as a candidate who allegedly won thanks to the help of Moscow.

Previously it was reported that trump demanded that American intelligence services to provide him with solid evidence of the guilt of Moscow.
