Putin predicted the marginalization of the supranational elite

The speech of Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the club “Valdai” will be remembered primarily hard convincing the world of a supranational elite. The President of Russia, which the participants were flatter in the face, calling him the most powerful man in the world, really not too interesting to talk about elections in the United States. It indicates that underlies the current world disorder.

In Putin’s answers to the questions of experts “Valdai” as always, many interesting and colorful – and memorable wording, like “what’s good for the Russian people, and there are national interests of Russia”. Putin asked a lot of questions about Ukraine, and he gave an absolutely correct formula of the strategic course of Russia:

“Putin’s speech is a challenge, continue and develop as the Munich speech of 2007 and the “Crimean” speech March 2014″

“We are one people, we first split and then bleed. But we ourselves are to blame. And we need to find a way out of this situation.

Talking about Syria, and on Russian-American relations, about China and the role of the UN. Was, of course, questions about elections in the United States and the Russian intervention in their course:

“About the so-called favorites or no favorites in the election campaign in the United States… This idea thrown into the public consciousness during the presidential campaign in the United States, in my opinion, with only one purpose – to fight those who defend the interests of the Democratic candidate Mrs. Clinton in the fight with the representative of the Republican party Mr. trump… How is it done? First, it creates the image of the enemy in Russia, and then declared that the tramp is our favorite. This is complete nonsense and complete nonsense. It’s just a method of internal political struggle, a way of manipulating public opinion.”

The President noted that during the election, the conversation should go on pressing political problems of the United States, and not about the mythical Russian intervention – “it’s much easier to divert people’s attention on Russia’s so-called hackers, spies, agents of influence etc.” And rhetorically asked: “does anyone seriously think that Russia can somehow influence the choice of the American people? America that this kind of banana country? America is a great power”. The proviso that no one knows “how to behave like a winner, how to lead a trump or Clinton,” and for this reason “we are more or less indifferent”, who is elected President, we will work with anyone, Putin welcomed the “Declaration on the intention of normalizing relations between the US and Russia”, which is known to come from trump.

Characteristics, given Putin’s Trump, was not accidental:

“As for Mr. trump – he chose his own way to reach the hearts of voters. It is, of course, behave extravagantly, we all see it, but I think not so it’s pointless. He represents that part of society who is tired of the elites who are decades in power. It depicts a simple guy who criticizes them. It runs on this pitch. How is he going to be effectively – elections will tell.”

Words that trump represents the interests of those who are tired of the ruling elites, true, but in Putin they are, in fact, were only a continuation of the main theme, which the President asked in his opening remarks. Topics supranational elites, causing a growing dissatisfaction among people in different countries. This idea was the main and most interesting thesis of Putin’s speech, but, unfortunately, experts of the Valdai club did not want to develop, bringing further dialogue to questions about important, but private topics and discussion of the role of Putin’s personality in the story.

Meanwhile, the President said this:

“There is a lack of strategy and ideology of the future, this creates an atmosphere of uncertainty that directly affects the public mood. Sociological studies conducted throughout the world, show that people from different countries and continents future, much to our regret, often seems vague and gloomy. The future is calling, it’s frightening. At the same time people do not see real opportunities and mechanisms to change something, to somehow influence the course of events, the choice of policy.

Yes, technically all of the attributes of democracy in modern countries, there are elections, freedom of speech, access to information, the right to Express their opinion. However, even in so-called developed democracies, the majority of citizens have no real influence on the political processes, there is no direct, real impact on the government.

Citizens feel that their interests and the performance of elites on the only right course, that these elites are choosing, more and more divergent. As a consequence, referendums, elections, more and more surprises for the authorities. People vote not as they were advised official respectable media, not, as recommended by the so-called system of the party. And social movements, which until recently were considered too left or too right, come to the forefront, pushing the political heavyweights.

First, such inconvenient results were quick to declare some kind of anomaly, a Fluke, when they were repeated, began to talk about what society does not understand those who are on the Olympus of power, not yet grown up to appreciate the aspirations of the authorities, care about the people’s welfare, and even comes to tantrums, they say, is a consequence of foreign, usually Russian propaganda.”

Although on Putin talked about that mythical threats like the Russian in the West are punched for the purpose of receiving benefits – “indeed, it is a profitable exercise, the new military budgets to beat in their countries to gain allies in the interests of one superpower” thing in the previous passage is not that. Putin pointed out that the citizens of the West (he did not name specifically the West, but it’s obvious) increasingly feel that their interests are increasingly at odds with the course of choice of the elite. And vote as they are not expecting.

It is clear that Putin meant “Brakcet” and the growing popularity of Euro-skeptics in Germany, and quite likely win trump. That is a distinct trend in the growth of contradictions between the lows and elites, which some in the West helplessly trying to pass off as “the machinations of Russia.” Putin openly laughed at this – “I’d like to have a propaganda machine in Russia. But this is, unfortunately, not so. We have no such global media outlets like CNN, bi-Bi-si, and some others. We have such opportunities yet.”

Russian propaganda is funny when we are talking about real, serious shifts in Western public opinion. After speaking about the contradictions between the people and the elite, Putin actually outlines a revolutionary situation – in the sense in which revolution is a revolt against the elites.

The revolt against elites, albeit peaceful, the West is trying to attribute to Putin – not completely, but at least partially. But it’s funny. Moreover, the Atlanticists only help Putin to deal with them. After giving him a non-existent ability to influence political processes in their countries, they are thus attracted to the Russian President the attention of those Westerners who are really dissatisfied with the existing course – and they begin to see Putin as a real ally, will no doubt only benefit Russia.

Moreover, the Union formed by disgruntled Western population and the Russian leader, which the very same Western elite does the symbol of the “revolt against supranational elites.” If earlier in Moscow portrayed Stalin “the leader of all progressive humanity” – despite the fact that in the same Western Europe after the Second world war was a powerful Communist party that really wanted to lead his country to an Alliance with the Soviet Union, not the United States – now the West is pushing its unhappy towards Russia and Putin. The main enemy is not the United States – the Atlantic, a supranational elite.

And Putin says that the main enemy of the elite is not he, and the peoples of Western countries, who are increasingly voting for non-system politicians:

“As for the thesis about the triumph of the marginalized, the populists on sane, sober, responsible minority, of course, not the populists, but the fact that ordinary people, ordinary citizens no longer trust the ruling class, that is the problem…

Elite does not seem to notice the deepening of social stratification and erosion of the middle class and enforces ideological model, which, in my opinion, destroy the cultural, national identity. And in some cases, in some countries, and sacrificing the national interests, renounces sovereignty in exchange for the favor of the overlord.

A reasonable question arises: who is, in fact, marginal? Expanding the class of a supranational oligarchy and bureaucracy, often actually elected and not controlled by society or by the majority of citizens who want, in General, simple and clear things: stability, free development of their countries, the life prospects for themselves and their children, preserve their cultural identity, and most importantly, basic security for themselves and their families.”

In fact, this is the real Manifesto of Putin – but not as President of Russia and leader of the anti-globalization resistance of the peoples of the world. Putin calls supranational oligarchy and bureaucracy – that is, the globalist elite is marginal. It’s not an insult – it is an indication that the interests of the global elite are in fatal conflict with the interests of the absolute majority of mankind. And to combine these interests cannot course of globalization in its Atlanticist recension contrary to the interests not only of the peoples of the non-Western world, but also the aspirations of the people themselves in Western countries. And therefore supranational elite cannot win, they will not be able to continue its course – regardless of whether Clinton wins or not.

And Yes, this Putin’s speech as a challenge. Continue and develop as the Munich speech of 2007 and the “Crimean” speech in March 2014 delivered after the annexation of Crimea. This challenge is not Putin, and Russia the very fact of its existence. Russia tried to marginalize – and we’re talking about what will soon be marginalized themselves globalizers. Not we can bury them, but their own greed, arrogance and contempt for the blossoming complexity of humanity.
