The government of Ecuador confirmed the shutdown of the Internet Assange


An official statement of the government of Ecuador released by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the country.

“Ecuador pursuant to its sovereign right to temporarily restrict access to parts of the communication systems in its Embassy in London due to the fact that in recent weeks, WikiLeaks has published a large number of materials that affect the electoral campaign in the United States. The government of Ecuador respects the principle of non-interference in the Affairs of other countries and does not intervene in the current election processes and does not support any candidate… the Restriction will be temporary in nature and does not interfere with WikiLeaks to carry out its work”, – stated in the message.
