The Minister of defence of Poland Anthony Macierewicz claims that the day of the crash Tu-154 near Smolensk, former Prime Minister Donald Tusk held a “secret” meeting with the Russian leadership. According to him, the discussions were attended by Vladimir Putin, former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The statement Makarevich made in an interview with Gazeta Polska, full version of which will be released October 19. Media clarify that the meeting was held in the evening of 10 April 2010, when the plane of Polish President Lech Kaczynski crashed near Smolensk, RIA Novosti reported.
“Tusk did not even bother to inform anyone about the conversation with Vladimir Putin and Sergei Shoigu (who served as head of the emergencies Ministry. — RT), during which both representatives of the authorities of the Russian Federation, and also representatives of a special Commission convened by President Medvedev, already knowing the contents of the “black boxes”, presented the course of the disaster. Very in detail described, how it happened,” said Macierewicz.
Macierewicz noted that the data that the Russian leadership has provided Tusk, contrary to the conclusions that later came poppy and the Commission’s former interior Minister, Jerzy Miller. In addition, during the “secret” of the conversation is not mentioned on the birch, which, according to the investigation, the plane touched the wing during landing.
The plane Tu-154 of Polish President Lech Kaczynski on his way to ceremonies at the place of execution of Polish officers in Katyn, crashed on 10 April 2010 when landing at the airport “Smolensk-North”. The disaster killed all aboard the 96 people.
In the report of the Interstate aviation Committee in 2011 the immediate cause of the crash is recognized as the crew’s decision not to leave on spare airdrome, and the system reasons — deficiencies in flight operations and crew training.
Despite this, the Polish authorities continue to speculate on the crash of Tu-154. So, in early September Anthony Macierewicz promised to disclose “evidence” that “the purpose of the actions of the Russian managers and the authorities in Moscow was a plane crash with President Kaczynski and a delegation aboard.” Macierewicz also stated that the government of Donald Tusk came under the “Russian diktat” and therefore hid the “key documents”, including the latter stages of the flight Tu-154.
