September 2016 is declared the hottest in history

September 2016 has become the latest month with the average temperature during which was higher than at any time during the 136 years of meteorological observations. Since last year, the month in which the temperature record has not been installed, are much more rare than those when it was installed. However, this time compared to September 2014, the bar has been raised by only 0.004 degrees.

As stated by the specialists representing Institute for space studies NASA Goddard, has for a long time the average temperature exceeds the indicators adopted in the “norm”, at 1-1.5 degrees Celsius. In September, the trend has changed, but it was not enough to ensure that the month became the warmest in history.

Since last October, that is during a calendar year, a record hot announced every month. However, as recognized by climatologists, June this was named wrong and in fact he is “only” third place at the temperature over the entire history of observations. All other months, the status of the hottest preserved, and the July and August share the title of the hottest month in the entire history of observations. Despite the fact that the current Sep only marginally broke the previous high, a future month may not be a record, 2016 (after 2015) is almost certainly generally will be the hottest in history.

The last time on Earth are not only “common” and “private” temperature records. In particular, July 20, 2016 in Kuwait was the hottest day on the planet over the entire history of observations. A record of 54 degrees was recorded in the town of al-Mutriba in the North-West of the country.

As explained by climate scientists, long-term warming due to a combination of the influence of natural cycles and human activity, and if the first around these days transferred to the stage of cooling, the human impact on climate remains significant.
