Putin discussed with Erdogan the situation in Syria and the storming of Mosul


Relevant information was announced in a press-service of the Kremlin.

“The presidents of Russia and Turkey in the course of telephone conversations initiated by the Turkish side, exchanged views on the settlement of the Syrian crisis and also affected the progress of the operation in Iraq to liberate the city of Mosul… Vladimir Putin, in particular, stressed the importance of ensuring effective dissociation of the units of the “moderate” opposition of militants “dzhebhat an-Nusra” and other affiliated terrorist groups”, – stated in the message Department.
