Poroshenko has found a way to make life difficult operating in Russia Ukrainians

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree on the extension and expansion of sanctions against Russia. The updated list includes not only Russian politicians and businesses, but the payment system, through which Russian citizens of Ukraine were transferred to their relatives money.

According to the document published on the website of the President of Ukraine, the restrictions affected a number of Russian and international payment systems used by Ukrainians to send money home.

Thus Kiev is essentially shot itself in the foot, complicating not only the lives of four million of its citizens, who are now in Russia, but also for their relatives in Ukraine, for which remittances from Russia are important in the family budget.

It should be noted that Ukraine last week was going to consider the cancellation of visa-free regime with Russia. However, the issue was postponed due to the fact that “Block of Petro Poroshenko” refused to support the document.

In turn, the Ukrainian foreign Ministry warned that the move will lead to retaliatory actions of Moscow and force hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians to stand in line for Russian citizenship.
