Churkin said the UN security Council decision over the past 5 years


Permanent representative of Russia to the UN Vitaly Churkin said the appointment of former Prime Minister of Portugal Antonio Guterres as the new UN Secretary-General the best decision of the security Council of an international organization for the last five years. The diplomat believes that relations between Moscow and Washington has reached the highest voltage since 1973, but it’s still not “cold war”. Churkin hopes that relations between Russia and the United States are normalized, regardless of who becomes the next President of America.
