Poroshenko agreed with Merkel on the three-way conference call

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed on Thursday by phone the events in the Donbas.

According to the website Poroshenko,the Ukrainian leader briefed Merkel about increasing the number of shelling of positions of Ukrainian army in the Donbas, especially at night. In addition, he called for the placement of permanent observation posts of the OSCE in the areas of breeding troops.

In addition, they discussed issues of visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.

The parties also agreed on holding in the near future trilateral conference calls between leaders of Ukraine, Germany and France.
