Ayrault confirmed the intention of Paris to cooperate with Moscow


On Thursday at the initiative of the French side, a telephone conversation of head the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault.

According to TASS, citing the Russian foreign Ministry, the sides discussed implementation of the Minsk agreements in light of the settlement of the situation in Ukraine.

“Jean-Marc Ayrault assured that Paris is committed to working with Moscow as to promote bilateral relations and on key issues on the international agenda”, – said the Russian depodesta.

In turn Sergey Lavrov has noticed Ayrault in an interview with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on French channel TF1, in which the Russian leader reaffirmed the policy of cooperation with France.

In addition, they discussed the situation in Syria.
