Commenting on the statements by the head of British diplomacy on his page on Facebook, Maria Zakharova joked that Boris Johnson has moved from words to deeds in terms of his “weapon.”

“Apparently, Mr. Johnson has moved from words to action and used firearms, which had previously threatened Russia, is a shame. And we really ashamed of him,” wrote the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry.

We will remind, scandalous calls for the holding of mass protests, the chief of British diplomacy was made in the walls of the British Parliament.

“I would like to see protests by people opposed to the war in Syria, the walls of the Russian Embassy. But where is the coalition “Stop the war”?”, – said Boris Johnson.

However, statements Johnson has caused confusion not only in the Russian foreign Ministry. So, a prominent British political analyst and chief editor and publisher of Politics First Marcus Papadopoulos also made a criticism of the policy.

“Statements of this kind are highly unprofessional for the Minister of foreign Affairs of any country… as the UK has diplomatic relations with Russia, the foreign Minister of our country should not support holding any protest actions near the building of the Russian diplomatic mission in the United Kingdom”, – he wrote on the pages of their journal.
