“A lot of the takes”: Avakov infuriated the Hollande’s request to observe a truce

The Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine harshly criticized French President françois Hollande, who during his speech in PACE urged Kiev to respect the Minsk agreement. Arsen Avakov, not especially choosing expressions, has advised Hollande not to tell the Ukrainian authorities how to act.

“The French President is a lot to take! First, the ugly statements of the Minister of foreign Affairs of France, Herault, during a visit to Ukraine, and now President Hollande,” – said Avakov on his page in Facebook.

The Minister demanded that Hollande did not dare to tell you what to do to Kiev. He also pointed to the fact that Paris is supposedly pledged to protect Ukraine from Russian aggression, while in fact, France “betrays” her.

“Your suggestions and interpretations of the settlement of the war in the Donbass – is not acceptable and outrageous for any real Ukrainian,” – said Avakov.

At the end of his message the Minister expressed hope that Hollande through “diplomatic equivocation dancing” understand that Ukraine is going to fight for freedom and independence, relying on the support of friends, not for “the betrayal of fellow travelers.”
