The government of Russia has approved the import of certain fruits from Turkey


Nakano in Istanbul, Russian President Vladimir Putin meeting with Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan said that Russia will approve the importation from Turkey of stone fruit and citrus.

We will remind, in the list of prohibited fruit exports were fresh and dried oranges and tangerines (including tangere and Satsumas), clementines, wilkings, similar citrus hybrids, fresh apricots, fresh peaches, nectarines, fresh plums and sloes.

On Tuesday, the Russian government has excluded them from the list of prohibited products.

While banned are grapes, apples, pears, strawberries, tomatoes, onions and shallots, cauliflowers, broccoli, cucumbers, and carcasses and offal of chickens and turkeys, salt and cloves.
