Are there some things that I miss out on from changing banks? I am currently with one bank that has ATMs everywhere I turn my head. I had not noticed as many machines from the bank with free offer. I’m being offered $75 to open an account. The account is free as long as I have a monthly direct deposit and $100 for a minimum opening deposit. Is there a problem with maintaining checking accounts from two different banks? How can a bank offer free checking? Does it ever lose its ૲free” status?
