On Monday, Moscow and Minsk resolve oil and gas dispute. According to the publication, the actual price for the supply of Russian gas for Belarus will decrease, however, the loss incurred by not “Gazprom” and the Russian budget.

In exchange for lower prices on Russian “blue fuel” to Belarus agreed to abolish higher tariffs on Russian oil transit on the territory of the Republic (the corresponding document will come into force on 12 October – ed.). In addition, sources say, “Kommersant”, Minsk promised to sign the agreement on creation of a unified energy market of the two countries.

Specifies that Belarus will close down the debt in the amount of about $ 300 million, and the actual ruble price of gas will be reduced retroactively from July 1, by about 30%. Thus, this year Belarus will save about 25 billion rubles, the money Russia should return to Belarus.

Losses of the Russian budget from-for difference compensation between the price of gas contract with Gazprom prices and the actual prices for Belarus will depend on the exchange rate.

In the current pricing formula, “Gazprom” most of the variables — the cost of transportation from Yamal to the border with Belarus, the cost of storage of gas and the expenses of “Gazprom” for its implementation expressed in dollars.

Assuming budgeted for 2017 dollar to 67.5 ruble and the annual supply of 18 billion “cubes”, then Russia may lose about 56 billion rubles, estimated by “Kommersant”.
