Putin: there is no reason to talk about the end of the era of hydrocarbons


Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the world energy Congress in Istanbul said that while sees no reason to talk about the decline of the era of hydrocarbons. He noted that such conversations and assumptions about the need to shift to alternative energy sources has arisen on the background of more than two-fold drop in oil prices.

“I think the real reason for such far-reaching conclusions yet. Anyway, bye,” giving his assessment of the situation, Putin.
