Asked a provocative question Poroshenko student was threatened with military service

The chief of the General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko responded to the incident at a meeting of students of Kiev national University of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv with President Petro Poroshenko. In response, the chief of the General staff Viktor Muzhenko declared its readiness to participate in the ranks of the APU alumni of the University. “The armed forces of Ukraine will welcome in its ranks as the glorious graduates of the Kiev national University of Taras Shevchenko, and other universities of any specialty. There is work for everyone,” wrote the captain on his page in Facebook.

Thursday, October 6, the President of Ukraine advised one of the students after graduation to go to the year in the zone of military operations in the Donbass. “I can say that after the army is a completely different perception of the world. Completely different. Person”, – said Poroshenko, remembering how for two years he served in the Soviet army.

Then one of the students asked the head of state, when he will send their children to the ATO (Ukraine called the conflict in the Donbas anti-terrorist operation – ed.). Poroshenko said that his children were there and back already, and the youngest even earlier — he’s 14.

Then the young man asked if “just solve the problem”. Poroshenko said that a peace can be achieved when the parties to the conflict, among which he includes Russia. “Well, then we are hostages, it turns out,” he interrupted his student.

The President in turn asked if the young man “to surrender to the Russians.” Knowing that his plan is not included, Poroshenko stopped the conversation and advised in this case to listen to his suggestions.

Later, a young man who introduced himself as Taras, said in an interview with blogger Anatoly Shariy, he is attending the master’s program of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the Kiev national University of Shevchenko, as claimed by the media. He also denied reports about his dismissal from the University.
