- The UN security Council voted against the resolution of the Russian Federation on Syria
The Russian draft resolution on Syria in the UN security Council, 9 members of the organization voted against, 4 for, 2 member countries abstained.
In the Russian draft resolution have expressed support for the proposal on the withdrawal of the militants of the terrorist organization “dzhebhat an-Nusra” (banned in Russia) from Aleppo.
We will remind that earlier Russia vetoed a French draft resolution that provides for the termination of air strikes on Aleppo.
