Turkey and Russia began negotiations on the abolition of visa regime

The Minister of economy of Turkey Nihat Zeybekci told TASS that Ankara is currently holding talks with Moscow on the return to visa-free relations.

He explained that before the incident with the Russian su-24 the citizens of both countries could travel without a visa. According to Zeybekci, the scrapping of visa-free relations benefit tourism and trade, so now there are contacts to re abolition of visas.

Zeybekci expects that this issue will be resolved in a reasonable timeframe.
