A student asked Poroshenko, when he will send their children to the ATO


During a meeting of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with the students of Kiev national University. Shevchenko one of the students decided to ask the head of state the outcomes of the war in the Donbass. Transcript of the session posted on Youtube by the Ukrainian channel 5.

The student began the conversation with a provocative question, asking when Poroshenko send their children to the ATO (Ukraine called the conflict in the Donbas anti-terrorist operation). Poroshenko said that his children were there and back already, and the youngest even earlier — he’s 14.

After that, the student asked if “just solve the problem”.

I’m sorry, but to solve the problem, we need the will of the two parties. Our country, together with the international coalition and the aggressor, – said Poroshenko.

– Well, then we are hostages, it turns out, – said a student

And you offer to surrender to Russia? – said Poroshenko.

Learning that is in the plans of the student are not included, Poroshenko stopped the conversation and advised in this case to listen to his suggestions.
