Note that the initiator of the draft law on the introduction of a visa regime with Russia has become the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Andrei Parubiy. He did this in response to the arrest in Moscow, Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko, which was suspected of espionage.

In case of cancellation of a visa-free regime and response from Moscow, the number of unemployed residents of Ukraine can dramatically increase, which will instantly impact the positions of the current regime in Kiev.
