The white house did not rule out new sanctions against Russia and Damascus

Press Secretary of the President of the USA Josh Ernest said on Tuesday that US authorities have always with skepticism treated the talks with Russia on Syria. According to him, Washington is wondering whether the Russians really affect the Assad regime and whether they were able to do it. According to him, “Russia has shown itself to be at best not very reliable source”,

He added that President Barack Obama can use a number of opportunities to isolate the Syrian regime, and possibly Russian, for the support of the regime.

According to him, the effect of sanctions will be maximized if the United States will coordinate the use of this tool with partners and allies around the world.

“We will continue these consultations,” promised Ernest.
